The Trump Affairs That Have Been Made Public

Donald Trump’s infidelity is an integral aspect of his public image. The renowned real estate mogul from New York City gained widespread notoriety in the 1980s due to the intense media scrutiny surrounding his initial divorce, which was instigated by his involvement with a model.

Currently, Trump’s involvement in presidential history includes various affairs. In the beginning of 2018, the “Wall Street Journal” disclosed that shortly before the 2016 election, Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen made a $130,000 payment to former adult film actress Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about a past affair with Trump that occurred ten years prior. The complete narrative will be revealed in due course. At present, these are the known Trump affairs.

Marla Maples

In 1977, Donald Trump entered into matrimony with former model Ivana Zelníčková, and together they were blessed with three children, namely Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. However, their marital bliss came to an end in 1990 when Ivana discovered Donald’s extramarital affair with actress Marla Maples. The Trumps’ separation garnered significant attention, with “Newsweek” even remarking that Donald surpassed his own standards of tasteless behavior. The cover story that year detailed scandalous accounts of another woman, a series of romantic encounters, a clandestine love nest in a hotel, and a heated confrontation between wife and mistress.

Trump was associated with several other women while he was married, such as actresses Catherine Oxenberg and Robin Givens, skater Peggy Fleming, and socialites Carolyne Roehm and Georgette Mosbacher. All of these women denied the allegations. However, Trump’s extramarital affair with Maples became widely known when Ivana and Maples engaged in a heated argument at a restaurant in Aspen.

“Donald Bounced a Czech,” went one tabloid headline. “BEST SEX I EVER HAD,” said Marla about Donald in the “New York Post.” Donald and Ivana were divorced in 1991 with a $14 million settlement. Maples and Trump had a daughter, Tiffany, in October 1993 and married that December.

During the time Trump was dating Maples, he pretended to be a publicist named John Miller when speaking to “People” magazine. In this conversation, he stated that he would never marry Maples and claimed to have “three other girlfriends” at that moment. Trump and Maples ended up divorcing in 1999.

Stormy Daniels

Last Friday, the “Wall Street Journal” reported that Trump’s lawyer Cohen had paid Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, $130,000 to keep quiet about the affair she had with Trump in 2006, one year after he married his current wife, Melania.

In a 2011 interview with “InTouch” magazine, Clifford said that she and Trump had unprotected sex while he and Melania were married and that they carried on a yearlong affair. At one point, she said, Trump had her spank him with a copy of “Forbes” magazine that bore his face.

Karen McDougal

In November 2016, the “Wall Street Journal” also reported that Trump had an affair in 2006 with Karen McDougal, 1998 Playboy Playmate of the Year. The “National Enquirer” (owned by Trump friend David Pecker) paid McDougal $150,000 for the exclusive rights to her story — and never printed it.
